Parent Involvement: PTO, Volunteers

North Lee PTO

The relationships within the North Lee Community, which includes students, teachers, staff, parents and patrons, are a vital influence on the success of our children’s futures.  Therefore, our purposes are:

To foster a sense of support, pride and enthusiasm;

To encourage parent and public involvement in the North Lee Community

And to bring into closer relation the home and the school, that the parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.

This organization shall provide service for school functions, engage in fundraising projects, encourage parent, teacher and community involvement and cooperate with school administration in providing educational opportunities.

What this means is we do many things to provide the best experience for our kids! One of the biggest undertakings we do is supplement the salaries for the art and computer teachers. This means fundraisers!  Our annual fundraisers are strawberry sales, Box Tops for Education, Spirit Nights at local restaurants, and Ram Jam, a community fall festival that is fun for everyone! We do appreciate our teachers and we try to express that throughout the year.  We provide treats or provide lunch once a month. During teacher appreciation week we spoil our teachers every day with wonderful gifts.

PTO can’t be effective without the effort of our volunteers.  We need your gifts and talents in PTO. There are plenty of ways to be involved, no matter what your situation is. Be a part of the finest team to help your child have all the best the school can offer. From helping count Box Tops, to running booths at Ram Jam, there is a place for everyone on North Lee PTO.  Feel free to contact any of our board members at this email address: [email protected]
